The French Cultural Society is a student organization at Columbia University. We aim to provide a space for all students to engage and connect through cultural, professional, and social events centered on French culture across all 21 undergraduate and graduate schools at Columbia.
Cultural events: We promote French culture, organize celebrations, and share various art-related opportunities in New York. Our goal is to familiarize students with French history and the arts and help them make the most of what is available.
Professional events: We host distinguished speakers whose work is related to France. These conferences are designed to connect Columbia students with professionals across numerous fields—business, entrepreneurship, diplomacy, politics, and more—and to allow students to learn from their experiences.
Social events: We organize a variety of informal events both on and off campus. We aim to foster connections throughout the year, helping students get to know each other and take full advantage of their time in New York.
